Why NEWTON was wrong in some cases?
Yeah , that's good question to ask "Why Newton was wrong in some cases?"
If he was wrong then, why we still use his laws ?
By whom it was proved wrong?
What was the mistakes in his laws?
So, let's begin to answer these questions.

Newton was really curious minded and he was first person who published his laws on motion , gravitational force etc mathematically.
Woah!!! That was awesome. I am not saying that he wasn't good. Just saying , as he was first to publish these all with mathematics.
So basically, his laws were acceptable at that time but later those all laws were failed to calculate anything when any body is travelling at high velocity.
The first three things that Newton amused as absolute are as follows:-
1). MASS
2) .TIME
3). SPACE
If he was wrong then, why we still use his laws ?

He amused these three things as absolute. But reality was something different from this.
As he had considered these things as absolute, later Albert Einstein illuminate the reality i.e. mass is not constant, time is relative and the space is not as newton thought but it can bend , twist and even tear.
How einstein proved newton as wrong?
After 200 years of universal law of gravitation, Einstein had given his THEORY OF RELATIVITY.
And this was considered as the evolutionary theory.
In the theory of relativity , he said that as the velocity of any object increases then its mass starts increasing. Here, mass is something different from total matter contained in a body. Actually, mass is total inertia contained in a body.
So, as the velocity of the body increases then there will be increases in inertia too. And that's what the reason behind why we can't travel with the speed of light. Actually as we travel near to the speed of light , we start increasing our inertia and near "c"( speed of light ) we will get infinite inertia.
So, coming back to our topic.
In theory of relativity , he also said that the TIME is relative term as motion.
As we start increasing our speed then we start dilating our time. This means that, our time will get slower with respect to its surrounding. And this is what called time dilation.

Now, the space can be bend????
This part is most important one. Newton thought that the space is fixed , it can't bend. But he was wrong. Einstein said that the space can be bend.
Basically, this part is connected with his GENERAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY.
In his theory, he said that gravity is because of the behavior of space-time curvature. Here, space-time is the fuse model of 3-D(x-axis, y-axis and z-axis) and the fourth dimension time.
So, according to him as energy increases in in particular region of space , then the space time shows distortion. And this distortion causes the time dilation as well as gravity.
It was totally different from what newton thought. For newton the space cannot be bend but according to the theory of relativity, the space can be bend by the higher energy density.
Why NEWTON'S law of gravitation was replaced by EINSTEIN'S theory of relativity?
According to newton, the gravity is attractive force between two bodies that is directly proportional to product of there masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between he center of those bodies.
His mathematical equation for gravity was given by following equation:-

m2 =mass of second body
r = distance between there center
G =6.67259*10^-11 Nm^2/kg^2 ( universal constant)
That was really acceptable for that time but newton failed to explain how the gravitation works.
Later , Einstein explained its mechanism in his theory of relativity.
He said that gravity is because of behavior of space-time.
And it is best theory to explain gravity till now.
Then why we still use newton's laws?
Basically , newton's laws were great and sufficient to use it on our scale.
They get violated on huge scale like stars and on high velocity.
But the theory given by Einstein are also use today.
The most basic and important equation given by Einstein still use. E=mc^2
And on these small scale the difference get negligible. So, still we can use his laws .
So, the match was won by both side equally.
Hence , our champions are NEWTON and EINSTEIN both. woah!!!!

Modern text books no longer support the notion of relativistic mass increase with velocity. Mass is just what Newton said it was, constant. The reason it was questioned in the first place is that high speed particles carried more momentum than could be accounted for by visible velocity. In fact, the amount of momentum was equal to celerity times mass. At low velocity relative to c, velocity = celerity, so Newton's approximation is just the low speed limit. In today's textbooks, total momentum is gamma m v. Einstein's mistake was to associate the factor gamma with the mass. In reality, it should be associated with the velocity, since celerity = gamma v. Why believe me? Because in hyperbolic coordinates for 4-D velocity, the velocity components transform by multiplication with the Lorentz Transform matrix. And further proof is the existence of a relativistic invariant of the transform.

As per standard treatment in Special Relativity, the coordinate system can be rotated so that the space velocity is parallel to a single axis. Now we can construct a right triangle with time and space velocities as the legs. Per my proposition above, total space velocity is not visible velocity, but celerity. By its definition, celerity = gamma v, which is also gamma beta c. Beta is also equal to the sine of some angle, which is labeled the tilt angle. Every Lorentz Transform can be characterized by a velocity and therefore a rapidity. For convenience, call the rapidity associated with a transform, boost. Then, in shorthand, (c cosh rapidity, c sinh rapidity) x LT = (c cosh rapidity', c sinh rapidity') = (c cosh(rapidity + boost), c sinh(rapidity + boost)). Then, the promised relativistic invariant is just (c cosh rapidity)^2 - (c sinh rapidity)^2 = (c cosh rapidity')^2 - (c sinh rapidity')^2 = c^2. This makes c an invariant with respect to the Lorentz Transform, and is totally consistent with Einstein's postulate. In summation, total velocity = c cosh rapidity = gamma c, celerity = c sinh rapidity = gamma beta c, and velocity = c tanh rapidity = beta c.
